You know how you could only post up to 10 photos in a carousel? Well, you can now post 20 slides. Hellooo, extra long photo dumps—because why pick one selfie when you can post all 47? Whether it’s pics, videos, or a chaotic mix of both, now you can make absolutely sure no detail of your Italian getaway (we see you Jorja) goes unnoticed and unliked!
Stickers and Fonts ⌨️
Calling all font snobs and sticker enthusiasts—Instagram’s got some fresh toys for you to play with. We’re talking about new fonts like Retro, Bubble, and Squeeze (who named these?!), and our personal fave, Meme font. Now you can give your stories that extra *oomph* to match your brand’s vibe. But wait, there’s more! Your stickers got a makeover too, making it easier to add some extra pizzazz onto your posts. It’s all part of Instagram’s plan to keep the Zoomers (and us) hooked—because nothing says *youth appeal* like bubble letters and shiny stickers, right?

Okay, Office DJs and playlist gatekeepers, this one’s for you. Instagram just went full à la MySpace 2007 with its latest music update. Cleverly launched with the release of Sabrina Carpenter’s new album, you can now pin your favourite song to your profile. Finally you have the chance to prove to the world (or at least your 542 followers) that your music taste is far superior to theirs.
Stories Comments 💬
Looking for the perfect way to cement your spot as the funniest friend? Well Instagram’s new story feature lets you do just that. You can now directly comment on friends’ stories and everyone who views the story can see your hilarious responses. This latest update comes as part of its ongoing quest to keep people engaging in the app. Because according to Mr. Instagram himself, we’re now posting more stories and sliding into more DMs than actually posting on the main feed. Instagram clearly knows we live for the drama, and now they’re giving us even more ways to stir the pot while creeping on our friends’ lives through stories.
